Parli Coach powered by Gemini
Heads up: Gemini API keys may not work with every Google account. School or work accounts, accounts under 18, and accounts in unsupported regions can be blocked. If one doesn’t work, try a different personal Gmail account.
Never share your API key, and never share a page that has your key built in. Anyone with it can use your Google quota. Your key is saved only in this browser and sent only to Google.

How to get a Gemini API key

  1. Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with a Google account.
  2. Click Create API key. Pick a project, or let it create one for you.
  3. Copy the key. It starts with AQ. (newer keys) or AIza (older keys).
  4. Come back here, paste it into the key box, and click Save key.
  5. Type a resolution and click Generate case.
This may not work with every Google account. School or work accounts, accounts under 18, and accounts in unsupported regions can be blocked or redirected to a “regions” page. If that happens, try a different personal Gmail account (a VPN can also cause it, so turn it off).

If AI Studio asks you to Import projects instead of creating a key, make a free project at console.cloud.google.com first, then import it. If the key is rejected, restrict it to the Generative Language API under APIs & Services → Credentials.

The free tier has rate limits. If you see a 429 error, wait a minute and try again. You can check or delete keys any time in AI Studio.

Never share your API key. Treat it like a password.

Download with your key built in

This saves a copy of Parli Coach that works without typing a key. Your key will be stored in plain text inside the file.

Do not share the downloaded file, post it online, email it, or upload it to a website or shared drive. Anyone who gets it can use your key. If it leaks, delete the key in AI Studio right away.
On a Chromebook? You can run the downloaded HTML file at tools.xmit.dev.
